An attack by the occupying forces in the Kherson region claimed three lives and left 34 people wounded

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have once again attacked the Kherson region. Three people were killed and 34 were wounded. Among the wounded are three children.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>According to regional authorities, the occupiers targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods in the region’s towns and villages. As a result of the shelling, 14 private homes, a cell tower, a shuttle bus, and private cars were damaged.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>On the afternoon of July 9, Russian terrorists struck a shuttle bus in downtown Kherson with a drone. As a result, two women aged 51, 38, 40, and 76 were injured. They were diagnosed with concussions, shrapnel wounds to the limbs, blast injuries, and closed head injuries. Two men, aged 60 and 74, were also injured in the attack on the minibus. Preliminary reports indicate that they suffered concussions, blast injuries, and closed head injuries.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>On July 9, 2026, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Russian military forces dropped an explosive device from a drone near a school in Kherson. A 17-year-old boy who was on the street at the time was injured in the attack. He was hospitalized. He was diagnosed with blast trauma, concussion, and shrapnel wounds to his pelvis and legs.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>At approximately 9:15 p.m., the occupiers attacked the city again. They dropped explosives from a drone onto another street. As a result, a 13-year-old boy and a 30-year-old woman were injured. The victims were taken to the hospital.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The day before, the Russians attacked the Kherson region with drones and artillery. Three people were killed, and 19 were wounded. Among the wounded were three medical workers. The occupiers damaged a high-rise building and four private homes, and destroyed a cell tower, a minibus, an ambulance, and private cars. Due to damage to the overhead power lines in Kherson, trolleybuses were temporarily out of service.</span></span></span></span></span></span>
