The enemy attacked the Kherson region with drones and artillery; there are fatalities and 19 wounded

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces attacked the Kherson region with drones and artillery. Three people were killed and 19 were wounded. Among the wounded were three medical workers. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>According to regional authorities, on July 8, 2026, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Russian forces attacked the village of Krasnosilske in the Beryslav District with a drone. A 72-year-old man who was in the yard of his home was killed in the strike.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>On July 9, 2026, at approximately 1:30 a.m., the occupying forces dropped explosives from a drone in Kherson. Two men, aged 53 and 46, who were on the street, were injured. The 53-year-old man suffered an explosive-blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his legs. The 46-year-old man suffered a concussion, an explosive-blast injury, a closed head injury, and shrapnel wounds to his abdomen. After the emergency medical team arrived at the scene, Russian troops launched a second attack on the medics’ vehicle. As a result of the attack, three emergency medical workers were injured—two doctors, aged 38 and 49, and a 50-year-old driver. All of the injured have been hospitalized.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Over the past day, the occupiers damaged a high-rise building and four private homes. They also destroyed a cell tower, a minibus, an ambulance, and private cars.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Due to damage to the overhead wire system in Kherson, trolleybuses are temporarily out of service. Emergency repair work has begun. </span></span></span></span></span></span>
