On Thursday, July 2, at 10:00 a.m., deputies of the Odesa City Council will convene a regular session.
The relevant order was published by the press service of the municipality.
At the plenary session, the deputies will amend the city's program for providing housing for orphans, children deprived of parental care, persons from among them, and large families raising five or more children for 2023-2025. According to the draft decision, they will be offered to provide orphans with money to buy their own housing instead of receiving housing from the city.
The deputies are also to allocate UAH 800 thousand to the National University"Odesa Polytechnic" to develop a project to repair a dormitory that was damaged by a Russian missile strike.
In addition, they will consider approving changes to four city target programs until 2028. As Deputy Mayor Anna Pozdnyakova explained at a meeting of the Housing and Communal Services Commission, millions and billions of hryvnias were added to the programs to enable them to attract international technical assistance in the future. According to her, this is done in order to catch up with similar planning in the EU - their 7-year planning ends in 2028. In the future, Ukraine will also develop its programs for 7 years.
Prior to that, the members of the Standing Committee on Planning, Budget and Finance agreed on the list of enterprises that will be granted land tax exemptions in the city, which includesthe Infoksvodokanal branch, at a meeting on July 1.
The granting of benefits to this company caused a discussion among the deputies, as deputy Volodymyr Kornienko, who is not a member of the commission but attended the meeting in an advisory capacity, expressed doubt about the advisability of granting this benefit to Infoksvodokanal,
As usual, Intent planned to broadcast the meeting online. Meanwhile, preparations for the session continued in June. In particular, there were meetings of permanent parliamentary commissions to consider issues that will be submitted to the MPs for consideration at the next session, and Intent also monitors these meetings.
