After the first contractor was rejected, a large-scale reconstruction of a gymnasium in a village in the Kherson region was planned on the second attempt. This is the Kyselivska gymnasium, which was damaged during the hostilities.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations.

The customer of the work is the Chornobaivka village council. The cost of the reconstruction is still estimated at UAH 100 million 384 thousand. The project will be financed from the local budget. The construction work is scheduled to be completed by the end of December 2025.

Intent has already written about the first tender, which was announced in April. At that time, only one bid was received - from Sirius Group Agency LLC. The company was ready to perform the work for 98.5 million hryvnias, but its offer was rejected due to the lack of mandatory certificates for the equipment. The company was given 24 hours to eliminate the deficiencies, but it failed to submit all the necessary documents.

After that, the Chornobaivka village council announced a new procurement. Proposals from contractors are accepted until May 27, and an auction is to be held the next day. The tender was announced "with special conditions," meaning that it would be held as soon as possible and most likely without competition.

According to the tender documents, the winner will have to carry out a full range of construction and technical works: arrange floors, waterproofing, reinforced concrete structures, dismantle damaged parts of the building, install new windows, doors, and a lift for people with disabilities. The project also involves the installation of utilities - heating, water supply, sewerage, ventilation, electrical wiring, as well as fire alarms and an anti-explosive device system. A separate item is the purchase of furniture - desks, tables, first aid kits, and other equipment.
