In December 2024, a serviceman of the Podil RTC and JV repeatedly made changes to the registration cards of citizens liable for military service in the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Persons Liable for Military Service and Reservists "Oberih".
According to the State Bureau of Investigation, the official changed the data in the register on the search and military registration of men, which allowed the "clients" to even travel abroad.
"The investigation established that 12 people liable for military service managed to take advantage of the illegal scheme. For his 'help', the official charged 3 thousand US dollars per person," the statement said.
According to the SBI, some of the defendant's "clients" have already been found and mobilized to the army, while others are wanted.
The Odesa Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Region has already <span>filed an indictment against the serviceman on the fact of unauthorized actions with information processed in electronic computers committed by a person who has the right to access it.</span> The employee of the recruitment center pleaded guilty. The sanction of the article provides for a fine or correctional labor for up to two years.
Earlier, law enforcement officers served a notice of suspicion of influence peddling to the commander of a security platoon of one of the district territorial centers for recruitment and social support in Odesa and his accomplice. In April 2025, a citizen approached a TCC serviceman with a question about the possible removal of a person who had evaded mobilization from the wanted list. In May, the serviceman received USD 5 thousand in a parking lot near a commercial establishment in Odesa. Immediately afterwards, law enforcement officers detained both suspects. The court has now imposed a custodial measure of restraint on them with an alternative bail in the amount of UAH 908,000 each. The possible involvement of RTCC and JV officials in the crime is also being established.
