A rocket struck a house in the Odesa region: a child was injured

On the afternoon of July 20, the Russians once again launched a missile attack on the Odesa region, striking a residential building. 

This was reported by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

According to him, as a result of the shelling, the roof of a two-story house caught fire in one of the towns. In another town, two more houses, a garage, and a passenger car were damaged.

Three people were injured—two women and a girl aged 1 year and 10 months. One of the women was hospitalized. The child received outpatient treatment. Solar panels at one of the local businesses were also damaged. 

The previous evening, on July 19, a merchant ship flying the flag of Guinea-Bissau and carrying corn was damaged as a result of a Russian missile strike near Odesa. The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority reported that the death toll from the Russian missile strike on the vessel off the coast of Odesa has reached 10 people.

Prior to that, oneof theenemy missiles struckan amusement park. The strike destroyed fishermen’s homes and damaged six passenger cars. The death of a 16-year-old boy has been confirmed. Twelve other people were injured, including a 2-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl. 

Ten of the injured remain in the hospital; doctors assess the condition of four of them as serious. The child was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction—she received the necessary care and is now continuing treatment on an outpatient basis.

Additionally, Odesa and the Odesa region have been under constant Russian air attacks since the evening of July 16. Among the dead is a woman who was walking to a shelter with her children. The children survived. Ten people were also injured. In the Odesa district, shelling destroyed a service station building, which subsequently caught fire. The fire also spread to cars parked nearby. Preliminary reports indicate there were no fatalities or injuries.
