A new director of a children’s home has been appointed in Odesa, and she does not have her own place to live. Her financial disclosure statement does not list any apartment or house that she owns or rents.
The relevant order was published on the Odesa City Council’s website.
The appointment concerns Inna Svyryd, who has been named acting director of the Odessa City Council’s “Specialized Psychoneurological Children’s Home No. 3 ‘Sonetchko.’”
Svyryd assumed her duties on October 1. She will serve in this position on an interim basis until a permanent director is appointed.
The appointment was based on a request from Svyryd and a recommendation from Olena Kolodenko, director of the Odessa City Council’s Department of Health. The order was signed by Igor Koval, acting mayor and secretary of the Odessa City Council .
In her declaration, Svyryd noted that she is registered and actually resides in Odesa. However, she did not declare any owned or rented housing.
The only piece of real estate listed in the declaration is a 600-square-meter plot of land in Odesa. The land is owned by her mother, and Svirid herself acquired the right to use the plot back in 2004.
The new head of “Sonechka” also declared a 2007 Toyota RAV-4. She purchased it in 2011 for 100,000 hryvnias.
No other real estate properties—such as apartments, houses, or construction projects—are listed in the declaration.
