In Odessa, a mother of many children has been appointed the new head of the marriage registration office

A new director has been appointed in Odesa for the municipal enterprise "Pravo," which, among other things, handles the civil registration of marriages at the Wedding Palace. Anna Medynska has taken the helm of the municipal enterprise.

The corresponding order was published on the Odessa City Council’s website.

Medynska was appointed director of the “Pravo” municipal enterprise effective September 1, 2026, under a contract. Her salary will be determined in accordance with the staffing table.

Prior to this, she served as deputy head of the Primorsky Department of Civil Status Registration.

Previously, Oleksiy Martynyuk had been serving as the interim director of the municipal enterprise “Pravo.”

The municipal enterprise “Pravo” also handles issues related to the reservation, verification, and confirmation of addresses for real estate properties in Odesa.

The enterprise implements the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine’s “Marriage in a Day” project and organizes state registration of marriages at the Wedding Palace.

In addition, the municipal enterprise issues certificates from the Odessa City Address Register regarding the reservation, validity, and confirmation of addresses for real estate properties.

According to her 2025 financial disclosure statement, Anna Medynska has a husband and five children—daughters Svitlana, Mariana, and Ulyana, and sons Mykhailo and Vadym.

She lists two apartments in Odesa as her property. The first has an area of 55.3 square meters. She acquired it in May 2011; its value at the time of acquisition was 64,968 hryvnias. The second apartment, with an area of 34.6 square meters, was purchased in November 2020 for 250,041 hryvnias.

Her husband, Serhiy Medynskyi, owns a 2016 Honda Odyssey. He acquired ownership of the vehicle in June 2021.

For 2025, the official reported 514,126 hryvnias in salary. She also received social benefits totaling 48,120 hryvnias and 33,220 hryvnias.

Her husband earned 153,510 hryvnias in salary over the year at the Odesa Vocational College of Economics, Law, and Hotel and Restaurant Business.

Among her financial assets, Medynska declared 25,000 hryvnias and 8,500 hryvnias in accounts at one bank, as well as 6,500 hryvnias at another. Her husband reported $22,000 in cash.
