Law enforcement agencies in Kherson region exposed a married couple who actively cooperated with Russian special services. According to the investigation, the woman initiated communication with the enemy via Telegram, where she spread anti-Ukrainian content.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Using her daily walks with her dog as a cover, she walked the streets of the regional center, recording the number of Armed Forces units, the movement of equipment and the location of defensive structures. The suspect passed the collected coordinates to her curator to prepare enemy air strikes and drone attacks.

At the same time, her husband was engaged in propaganda support for the enemy: on social media, he publicly justified Russian aggression, glorified the occupiers and expressed hope for the recapture of the right bank of Kherson region.

During the searches, law enforcement officers found phones with direct evidence of their work for the enemy. Currently, the woman has been sent to a pre-trial detention center without bail for unauthorized dissemination of military information, and the man has been placed under house arrest for justifying aggression.

Also, in Kherson region, two local residents who actively assisted the enemy in the information war were served suspicion notices in absentia. According to the investigation, a 55-year-old resident of Kherson and a 37-year-old resident of Beryslav voluntarily joined the organization 'Union of Mothers of Kherson Region' created by the occupiers in August 2022.

The investigation established that the suspects were regular participants in public events organized by the illegal authorities. The women were regularly paid in Russian rubles for their 'public activities'. In addition to participating in the crowd, in late summer 2022, they were distributing hostile press in Kherson.

These publications glorified the occupation administration and contained direct appeals to residents of the region to renounce their Ukrainian citizenship in favor of Russian citizenship.
