A child was killed in the Kherson region as a result of Russian attacks

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops attacked Kherson and more than 50 settlements in the region. The enemy used aircraft, artillery, and various types of drones.

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, two people, including one child, were killed as a result of the Russian aggression, and 11 others were wounded, including two children.

The occupiers targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods. Thirteen high-rise buildings and six private homes were damaged.

Administrative buildings, a cultural center, a supermarket, a post office, outbuildings, agricultural equipment, garages, and cars were also damaged.

Meanwhile, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported on the specific consequences of the attacks on August 10. According to its data, as of 5:30 p.m., one civilian was confirmed dead and four were injured.

At approximately 8:50 a.m. in Kherson, Russian troops dropped explosives from a drone onto a civilian vehicle. The 55-year-old driver died from fatal injuries.

Another person was injured in Kherson as a result of an airstrike. Three civilians were injured in drone attacks in Kherson, Vysokoye, and on the highway between Kostyrka and Novoraysk.

According to the prosecutor’s office, Russian attacks also damaged private homes, apartment buildings, administrative buildings, a hotel, a hospital, outbuildings, garages, and vehicles.

In addition, another attack by Russian strike UAVs damaged a critical infrastructure facility. As a result, partial power outages were reported in Kherson.

Experts are currently assessing the extent of the damage and working to stabilize the situation and restore power.

Prosecutors and police investigators are documenting the consequences of the Russian attacks and collecting evidence of war crimes.

Residents of the region’s frontline areas are once again being urged to evacuate to safer regions.
