<span>On the morning of August 7, Russian invaders attacked a bus carrying civilians in the Kherson region with a drone. Six people </span><span>were injured in the strike </span>and were evacuated by the police.
According to the police press office, at around 6:00 a.m., a Russian operator of an FPV drone directed the drone at a bus carrying civilians. The passengers were mostly elderly people on their way to work in the fields.
Following the attack, police quickly evacuated the six victims and ensured they were transported to receive medical care. Law enforcement officials emphasized that the strike targeted civilian transportation that served no military purpose whatsoever.
Over the past 24 hours, the occupying forces have struck the Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Odesa regions with drones, artillery, and aircraft. There have been civilian casualties and significant damage to civilian infrastructure.
According to Georgiy Reshetilov, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Russian troops attacked Mykolaiv with “Geran”-type drones on the night of August 6. The strike damaged five garages, a fence, and a workshop at one of the local enterprises. No one was injured.
On the same day, Russian forces struck the Mykolaiv region with Shahed-type drones. In the Voznesensk community, six people were injured: a 39-year-old woman and five men aged 31, 50, 64, 66, and 69. All were hospitalized. According to information available this morning, their condition is assessed as moderate and stable. A building and specialized equipment at a transportation infrastructure facility were also damaged.
In addition, in the Mykolaiv district, the enemy attacked the Halytsynivska community with a “Klyn” drone. There were no casualties.
In the Kherson region, according to the regional military administration, 40 settlements came under enemy airstrikes, drone attacks, and artillery shelling.
Russian troops targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods. As a result of the shelling, nine high-rise buildings and 13 private homes, a cell tower, a farm building, an ambulance, a bus, private garages, and passenger cars were damaged. Twenty people were injured due to the Russian aggression.
The terror in the Odesa region continues as well. According to the regional administration, seven residential buildings and passenger cars were damaged as a result of yet another attack in the Odesa district. One casualty has been reported so far. Information regarding the consequences of the attack is being verified.
