Yesterday, Russian drones attacked a civilian vessel flying the Turkish flag that was transporting corn in the neutral waters of the Black Sea. The ship’s captain was killed in the strike, and one other person is missing.

In addition, a massive enemy attack in the Odesa region caused large-scale fires at port and industrial infrastructure facilities, as well as in the suburban area. Due to heavy smoke, specialists in radiation, chemical, and biological protection from the Odesa State Emergency Service conducted an inspection of the area.

As previously reported by Intent, on October 3, a motorman was killed as a result of a Russian strike on a civilian cargo ship flying the Liberian flag in one of the ports in the Odesa region. Three other crew members were injured. Rescuers evacuated 13 sailors to safety.

On September 29, at least eight people were injured in the Odesa region as a result of Russian strikes. A civilian enterprise, port infrastructure, a high school, an animal shelter, a private home, and vehicles were damaged.
