As a result of a massive enemy attack in the Odesa region, large-scale fires broke out at port and industrial infrastructure facilities and in the suburban area. Due to heavy smoke, specialists in radiation, chemical, and biological protection from the Odesa State Emergency Service conducted an inspection of the area.

This was reported by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration.

According to him, rescue workers have now completely extinguished all fires. He also reported that, based on the results of specialized measurements, no threat of chemical or radiation contamination was detected.
