8 civilians injured in Kherson region due to shelling

Eight civilians were injured in Kherson region due to an enemy attack.

Over the past day, the following towns came under enemy drone terror and artillery fire: Kherson, Sadove, Antonivka, Nezlamne, Kizomys, Chornobaivka, Chereshenky, Veletenske, Komyshany, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Blahodatne, Oleksandrivka, Pryozerne, Sofiyivka, Shyroka Balka, Mykilske, Prydniprovske, Znamianka, Novodmitrivka, Klapaya, Romashkove, Beregove, Beryslav, Osokorivka, Novoraysk, Kostyrka, Sahaidachne, Dudchany, Zolota Balka, Havrylivka, Zarichne, Ivanivka, Kozatske, Lvov, Mylove, Poniativka, and Tokarivka.

According to the Joint Forces Operation, during a nighttime drone attack, air defense systems shot down one Shahed-131/136 UAV over the territory of Kherson region. Russian troops damaged two high-rise buildings and 10 private houses.

"As a result of Russian aggression, 8 people were injured," the statement said.

The occupiers damaged an outbuilding, a garage and private cars. They hit critical social infrastructure and residential areas.

Earlier, we also published a story that law enforcement officers detained an FSB agent in Kherson who was adjusting the fire of Russian artillery. He faces life imprisonment for treason under martial law.

His main tasks included finding and transmitting the coordinates of temporary bases of the Defense Forces and energy facilities. The agent also monitored the locations of enemy shelling, its consequences, and reported to Russian special services.

During the search, two laptops and six phones with SIM cards of different operators were seized from the offender, which he used to create fake accounts to hide his cooperation with the enemy.
