13 people wounded in Kherson region due to Russian aggression

Yesterday, Russian troops continued to terrorize the Kherson region with drone attacks and artillery shelling. Forty settlements in the region, including Kherson, came under enemy fire.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the Russian military hit residential areas and social infrastructure facilities. The attacks damaged five multi-story buildings, ten private houses, an administrative building, cell towers, a utility company, a commercial building, a farm, and private cars.

According to regional authorities, 13 people were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported that pre-trial investigations into war crimes had been initiated under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The investigation found that on June 9, the Russian army used cannon and rocket artillery, mortars, and drones against the region's settlements.

As of 17:30, the prosecutor's office confirmed at least four civilian casualties. At night, a man and a woman were injured as a result of an attack by an enemy drone in the village of Chaikino. In the afternoon, a woman was seriously injured in Urozhayne after being hit by a Russian FPV drone.

Also in Kherson, an employee of a municipal utility company was injured as a result of an explosive device.

In addition, private and apartment buildings, an agricultural company, agricultural machinery and cars were damaged.

As a reminder, on June 9, one person was killed and 13 other residents of the region were injured, including a child.

Recently, six people were killed and 26 others were injured, including one child, as a result of Russian aggression in Kherson region.

Also, the Russian military attacked a hospital in Bilozirka, Kherson region, with artillery and FPV drones. Two nurses and a medical worker were injured in the shelling, and the hospital building and residential buildings were damaged.

Earlier, Intent wrote that Russian troops have used more than 12 thousand drones in the Kherson sector since the beginning of May. The greatest threat to Ukrainian defenders is now posed by attack drones, which the enemy uses en masse.
