In the first months of 2026, Mykolaiv Parks made purchases worth almost UAH 10 million. Most of the money was spent on waste management, utilities and maintenance of specialized equipment.

Intent analyzed the largest procurements of the department through Zakupivli.pro . It is worth noting that the analysis is based on the expected value of procurement, as the initial price may decrease during auctions.

In the structure of the company's expenses, the item related to the removal and disposal of household waste is particularly prominent. Several procurements were made for waste collection and transportation services alone, with a total value of over UAH 2.3 million. Separately, almost UAH 939 thousand was planned to be spent on waste disposal. One of the procurements did not take place at first, but later a similar service was procured.

Significant funds are also allocated to meet basic utility needs. More than UAH 760 thousand is allocated for centralized water supply and sewerage, and more than UAH 180 thousand for additional water supply services. Almost 800 thousand hryvnias are spent on electricity distribution. These figures demonstrate that a significant portion of the company's budget is spent not on new improvement projects, but on supporting the daily operations and functioning of municipal infrastructure.

A separate block of expenditures relates to equipment, without which it is impossible to maintain parks, squares and other public spaces. Throughout the year, the company purchased spare parts for sweepers, brushcutters, lawn mowers, vehicle parts, as well as repair and maintenance services for special equipment. More than UAH 331 thousand was allocated for the purchase of spare parts for City Ranger attachments alone. Almost 222 thousand hryvnias were planned to be spent on brushcutters and lawn mowers.

Purchases of materials for landscaping are also notable. These include plastic bags for garbage, boards, cement, sand, paint, chain oil, and various tools for work in the city. Although such purchases do not have large budgets individually, they collectively form a significant part of the utility's current expenses.

At the same time, the company continues to digitize the control over the operation of equipment. More than UAH 72 thousand was allocated for the purchase of GPS trackers with related equipment. Services were also purchased for the maintenance of vehicle monitoring systems and vehicle branding.

Also in 2026, the Department of Municipal Economy of the Kherson City Council regularly purchased both basic services and small household goods. Expenditures on utilities, fuel, security, and car repairs totaled more than half a million hryvnias over five months.
