Sanatoriums and health resorts
A sanatorium is a medical and preventive facility designed for the treatment and health improvement of people through natural factors such as climate, mineral waters, therapeutic mud, and sea bathing, combined with medical treatment. Sanatoriums can be of a general type or specialized for treating specific groups of diseases. On the territory of Ukraine, particularly in southern regions, sanatoriums operate that provide services to both the civilian population and veterans and other categories of citizens.
