Reconstruction and rehabilitation in Ukraine
Reconstruction is the process of restoration and reconstruction of buildings, infrastructure, and housing stock damaged as a result of military operations, natural disasters, or decay. On Ukrainian civic transparency platforms, this term often relates to monitoring budget expenditures for restoration, detecting corruption and inflated prices in reconstruction projects, particularly in southern regions of Ukraine. The tag brings together materials about reconstruction programs, investigations of financial violations in construction, and monitoring the effectiveness of the use of state and international resources for these purposes.
