Municipal Guard

Municipal Guard is a communal enterprise or institution that operates in Ukrainian communities and partially performs the functions of municipal police. Such an organization is engaged in the protection of public order, safety on streets and in public places, complementing the work of the National Police. The Municipal Guard was created as part of reforms of Ukraine's law enforcement system and to increase the level of public trust in security bodies.
