News about martial law in Ukraine
Martial law is a special legal regime introduced on the territory of a state or in separate localities during war, armed aggression, or threat of attack. Under martial law, restrictions on civil liberties are in effect, mobilization rules, blackout measures, and other security measures are implemented. In Ukraine, martial law has been repeatedly extended by the Verkhovna Rada since the beginning of the full-scale Russian aggression. This regime regulates the activities of government bodies, military services, and citizens, affecting everyday life in the country.
