Marathons and sports races

A marathon is a sporting competition or cultural event that involves prolonged, intensive activity. In a sporting context, a marathon is a race over a distance of 42 km 195 m, which is popular in many Ukrainian cities, including Odesa and Mykolaiv. Additionally, a marathon can refer to a long-term project or campaign in the cultural, educational, or public sphere, such as literary and artistic marathons or volunteer marathons.
