Events Poster in Izmail District
Izmail District is an administrative unit of Odesa Oblast in southwestern Ukraine, established in 2020 with its center in the city of Izmail. The district is located on Ukraine's southern border, bordering Romania and Moldova, and includes important infrastructure facilities, including the Izmail Sea Port. The territory has actively suffered from Russian aggression, including attacks on port and energy facilities.
