Distance education and online learning

Distance education is a form of learning in which students acquire knowledge without physical presence in an educational institution, using information technologies and online communication tools. It involves synchronous communication with educators in real time according to an established schedule, unlike correspondence education. Distance learning is widely used in Ukraine in both public and private educational institutions at the secondary and higher education levels, especially during emergencies or relocation of institutions.
