Customs events
Customs is a state body responsible for controlling the transportation of goods across the state border, collecting customs payments, and preventing smuggling. In the Odesa region and other regions of Ukraine, customs authorities maintain order at border checkpoints and conduct customs control. The activities of these bodies often become the subject of investigations into corruption, bribery, and illegal trafficking of goods.
