Catacombs are a branched system of underground passages and caves formed naturally or through mineral extraction. On the territory of Ukraine, the Odesa catacombs are the most famous, representing a huge network of stone quarries located beneath the city. These underground labyrinths have a rich history connected with archaeological finds, legends, and the cultural heritage of the region.
