Two people killed in Russian attack in Odesa region

On the night of May 3, Odesa region once again became the target of Russian drone attacks, killing two people.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper.
According to him, five more people were injured. In Odesa district, enemy drones hit three residential buildings, and two more were damaged. Port infrastructure facilities and equipment were also damaged. The fires have been extinguished by rescuers.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of May 3, the enemy attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Kursk region, as well as 268 Shahed, Gerber, Italmass, and other types of attack drones. According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m., the air defense neutralized 249 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones in the north, south, west and east of the country.
A ballistic missile and 19 attack drones were recorded at 15 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (wreckage) at 1 location.
On the night of May 2, Russian troops once again attacked a port in Odesa region, causing fires. The hits damaged the warehouse and outbuildings. No one was killed or injured. The local fires were extinguished by the personnel and units of the State Emergency Service. At night, the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper, reported a threat to the Izmail district, so the port on the Danube was affected.
The night before, Odesa was again filled with explosions and sirens as the city came under another air attack. As a result of the strikes, fires broke out in high-rise buildings and the port infrastructure of the region was hit.
The occupiers also struck at the port infrastructure in the Izmail district. Emergency services worked there to eliminate the fire. There were no casualties. At the same time, information on the extent of the destruction and possible damage is still being clarified.
On the night of April 30, Russian forces launched a massive drone attack on Odesa, targeting residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. The nighttime attack resulted in 20 injuries.
