16 people injured in night attack in the center of Odesa

Enemy drones massively attacked Odesa at night, striking residential areas and civilian infrastructure. At least 16 people, including a teenager, were injured in the shelling.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa MVA Serhiy Lysak.
Around midnight, Russian troops launched a massive drone attack on Odesa, targeting residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. Various districts of the city came under fire, with the Prymorsky district suffering the most damage. During the second wave of the attack, a high-rise building was hit.

The attack damaged a multi-story building and a five-story residential building - large-scale fires broke out on the upper floors and roof, which rescuers managed to localize. A private house was also destroyed and residential buildings in the central part of the city were damaged.
The enemy drones also hit civilian objects: a kindergarten building was severely damaged, where a fire broke out, and a shopping center, hotel and administrative buildings were also damaged. In addition, parking lots were hit, with dozens of buses and cars destroyed or damaged.

In Khadzhybey district, infrastructure facilities, warehouses and a garage cooperative were hit.
According to Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa MVA, four victims were initially reported - two women aged 25 and 44 and men aged 38 and 62. Later, the number of injured increased to 16, including a 17-year-old boy.

Two people are in intensive care in serious condition, and another victim was hospitalized in the trauma department. Others were treated on the spot or sent for outpatient treatment.
A total of 68 vehicles and more than 280 rescuers and utility workers were involved in the response. Operational headquarters have been set up on the ground to provide help and advice to residents of the damaged buildings.

On the night of April 29, the Russian army once again attacked Odesa region, and this time Izmail district was hit.
As a result of the attack, damage was recorded, in particular, the hospital 's therapeutic building was damaged.
