Two districts of Odessa and its suburbs were left without power following an attack by the Russian Federation

Early in the morning on September 19, two districts of Odesa and its suburbs were partially left without power. This was caused by a massive attack by Russian forces on the region.

This was reported bythe press serviceof DTEK Odesa Power Grids. 

The shelling caused emergency power outages in parts of the Odesa region, specifically in the Peresyp and Primorsky districts of Odesa.

As of this morning, power companies had already managed to restore power to more than 60,000 households. A total of 178,700 households remain without electricity.

DTEK warned of possible disruptions to critical infrastructure and electric transportation.

“Utility workers are on the ground and doing everything possible to restore power to every home as quickly as possible,” the company stated.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched an attack last night using two “Zircon” anti-ship missiles and 174 Shahed-type strike drones, "Gerbera," "Banderole"/"Dan-T" loitering munitions, and "Parody" decoy drones. One of the main targets of the attack was the Odesa region.

According to preliminary data as of 08:00, air defense forces shot down or neutralized 141 targets—three“Banderole”/“Dan-T”munitionsand 138 enemy drones.

Impacts were recorded at 15 locations, and debris from the downed targets fell at nine additional locations. The enemy missiles did not reach their targets; their impact sites are being determined.

As Intent previously reported, Russian occupiers attacked the administrative building on Serednofontanska Street in Odesa for the third time in a day. A fire broke out on the upper floors.
