Russians hit an administrative building in downtown Odesa

Russian forces attacked the center of Odesa with a rocket-powered drone. An administrative building was damaged.

This was reported by Serhiy Lysak, head of the Military Administration. 

 Information regarding casualties is being verified.

A fire has been reported at the site of the strike.

4:59 p.m. As of now, three people are known to have been injured as a result of the enemy attack on Odesa. One of them is in serious condition. All the injured have been hospitalized and are receiving the necessary medical care.

5:19 p.m. Five casualties have been confirmed so far. Most of them have shrapnel wounds. All are receiving the necessary medical care. The strike damaged the facade and windows of the administrative building. The resulting fire spread across several floors. Cleanup efforts are ongoing at the scene.

5:47 p.m. The numberof casualties has risen to seven. All relevant emergency services are on the scene. An emergency response headquarters has been set up to assist those affected.

As reported by Intent, on the night of September 18 in Odesa, a Russian attack set a two-story, unused building on fire. There were no casualties.

The strikes damaged residential areas, a business, storage tanks, and warehouses. A private residential building was completely destroyed, and at least five others were damaged.

A high school building, greenhouses, and several cars were also destroyed. Cleanup efforts are underway at the sites of the strikes. Law enforcement officials are documenting yet another war crime committed by Russia.

Odesa is under daily attack by the Russians using various types of weapons—the enemy is employing rocket-propelled and conventional “Shaheds,” “banderole,” missiles, and guided aerial bombs.

On the night of September 17, Odesa and the surrounding region came under a massive combined attack by Russian forces. Seven people were injured in the strikes, including children aged 4 and 13.

On September 13, in Odesa, Russian forces completely destroyed the distribution center of the EVA retail chain, which supplied goods to the Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Kherson regions. None of the facility’s employees were injured.
