On April 11, teacher Anastasia Pogorelova and her husband were killed in a hostile attack by the Shahedis in Odesa.

This was reported by the press service of the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa City Council.

According to the department, in 2019 Anastasia Pogorelova worked as a teacher at preschool No. 52, and in December 2025 she joined the staff of Lyceum No. 16, where she held the position of deputy director for administrative and economic affairs.

Two people died as a result of a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle hitting a residential area in Odesa on the night of April 11: the drone hit a private one-story house and killed them.

Civilian infrastructure was severely damaged: dozens of private and apartment buildings, a dormitory, and a kindergarten building. Windows were smashed, roofs and facades were damaged. Catering facilities were damaged. Infrastructure facilities also came under attack.

Utilities have been working at all locations since nightfall. The specialists closed the damaged windows, patched roofs and cleared the areas of debris and residues. A mobile operational headquarters was deployed to help the affected residents with the paperwork to receive assistance from the city budget and compensation under the eRestoration program.

On the night of April 10, Odesa region again suffered a massive attack by enemy unmanned aerial vehicles on energy and port infrastructure. The damage led to disruptions in power supply. Empty tanks and port equipment were also damaged. There were no casualties. The fires have been localized. All emergency services are working at the scene. The consequences are being recorded and eliminated.
