Occupiers attacked Odesa and the south: homes, schools, and transportation were damaged

Southern Ukraine has once again come under massive attacks by Russian drones. Residential neighborhoods, civilian vehicles, businesses, educational institutions, and retail establishments were targeted; there are fatalities and injuries.

According to Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa Military Administration, the morning in Odesa began with strikes by Russian drones. During the nighttime attack, infrastructure and an apartment on the fifth floor of a residential building were damaged. The apartment’s occupants were not at home at the time of the strike and were unharmed.

During the day, Russian forces attacked a tanker truck containing residual oil. After being hit, the truck caught fire, and the flames spread to a passenger car. Two people were killed, and three others were injured.

According toGeorgiy Reshetilov, acting head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, Russian troops attacked several communities in the Mykolaiv region over the past 24 hours. In the Horokhiv community, the enemy deployed FPV drones three times. In Oleksandrivka, a retail establishment was damaged, and in Svitla Dacha, a private home was damaged. 

The Snigurivka community was attacked nine times by “Molniya”-type drones. In Tamarine, a 60-year-old man was injured, and a truck and a bus were damaged. In Snigurivka, a 62-year-old man was injured during one of the attacks, and an educational facility, a private home, and a commercial building were damaged. In Halahanivka, an educational institution was destroyed. In the Berezneguvatka community, an agro-industrial infrastructure facility was damaged. 

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, the Russian attack overnight claimed the lives of two people in Kherson. At around 1:40 a.m., Russian forces struck the city’s Central District with attack drones. Two people were killed; their identities are currently being determined.

Two more residents were injured. A 46-year-old man was hospitalized with blast injuries and burns covering about 60% of his head, torso, limbs, and face. A 60-year-old woman suffered a concussion, blast injuries, and facial wounds.
