Izmail City Hall Announces Amounts of Payments for Victims of Russian Armed Aggression

The Executive Committee of the Izmail City Council has officially approved a decision to provide one-time financial assistance to community residents who suffered from the massive shelling on February 27.
The relevant document No. 258 was published today, March 4.
According to the city's social assistance program for 2026, payments are distributed according to the severity of injuries:
UAH 20,000 will be paid to those who are undergoing or have already undergone inpatient treatment in medical facilities.
UAH 5,000 will be allocated to those who are being treated on an outpatient basis.
As a reminder, two civilians were injured in a nighttime drone attack on February 27: A 3-year-old girl and a 43-year-old man. Both are currently under medical supervision.
The scale of the destruction: In addition to human casualties, the aggressor damaged the Mayak kindergarten, a hospital building, the private sector, as well as the railway infrastructure and industrial facilities of the port city.

The Department of Labor and Social Protection of Izmail City Council will be in charge of accruing the funds. The money will be transferred exclusively in non-cash form.
In total, the community budget for this year provides more than UAH 48 million for the urgent restoration of housing damaged by shelling.
Earlier, Intent wrote that the housing and communal services department in Izmail, Odesa region, announced an open tender for the current repair of safety lanes and the creation of a barrier-free space on Savytskoho Street - from Seminarska Street to Telegrafna Street.
This is a section of the street located along Kamyshovy and Central markets, the ATB supermarket and the bus station. The expected value of the procurement is UAH 5.3 million. The deadline for submitting bids is February 4. The auction is scheduled for the same day. The works are scheduled to be completed by April 30, 2026.
