In the Odesa region, the Russians struck homes and a post office with drones

One person was killed and another was injured as a result of a massive enemy attack on the Odesa region. Russian forces shelled a residential area and the postal operator’s logistics facilities

This was reported by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration. 

Cleanup efforts are underway at the sites. All relevant services have been mobilized.

8:52 a.m. It has been reported that one person was killed as a result of the enemy attack. Another man was injured. He was hospitalized and is currently in moderate condition.

10:05 a.m.As a result of the enemy attack on one of the private homes, a garage was destroyed, a car was burned, and the house was damaged. Windows were shattered in neighboring homes.

As Intent previously reported, on the afternoon of September 24, Russian troops continued their attacks on Odesa and the surrounding region. The occupiers deployed about a dozen and a half airstrike assets against the region. Private homes and high-rises sustained damage from the shelling. According to preliminary reports, three people were injured, including one child.

On the morning of September 24, four Russian drones violated Moldova’s airspace. This occurred during the Russian Federation’s attack on the Odesa region. Moldovan President Maia Sandu reported that at least one of the drones exploded in the north of the country.

Police added that experts from the police department’s explosives and technical affairs unit have preliminarily determined that the drone found in the Florești district has features characteristic ofthe “Gerbera” type used by Russia. According to preliminary findings, this is the first time a device of this type has been detected on Moldovan territory, particularly one equipped with an onboard camera.
