In Odesa, 17 people were wounded as a result of overnight shelling

Apartments in a 21-story residential building in Odesa were damaged as a result of enemy shelling. Seventeen people were injured, including three children.

This was reported by Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa Military Administration.

Twenty private apartments were damaged, as well as cars parked nearby. 

Emergency response centers have been set up throughout the city where those affected can receive assistance and counseling. Cleanup efforts following the attack are ongoing.

As of this hour, it is known that among the victims are seven women aged 23 to 61, seven men aged 31 to 52, and three children—two 8-year-old boys and an 11-year-old girl.

The day before, Russian troops attacked the Odesa Thermal Power Plant (TPP), part of the Naftogaz Group, with missiles and attack drones. The attack damaged some of the plant’s main and auxiliary equipment. Debris removal is currently underway at the facility.

Once this work is complete, experts will conduct a full assessment of the CHP’s technical condition and determine the extent of the damage caused by the Russian strike.

Naftogaz noted that it is coordinating further actions with the relevant agencies and local authorities.

On September 1, Russian troops launched a massive attack on the Odesa region. The shelling damaged agarment factory building. In one of the settlements in the Odesa district, a residential building caught fire, injuring one person.

On the same day, Russian troops attacked the“Orlivka–Isakcha”border crossingonthe Ukrainian-Romanian border during the night. A direct hit damaged a building on the border crossing grounds and caused a fire.
