In the Odesa region, the occupiers damaged a sewing workshop and residential buildings

Russian troops launched a massive attack on the Odesa region. Residential, energy, and port infrastructure facilities came under fire.

This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.

As a result of the shelling, a garment factory building was damaged. In one of the towns in the Odesa district, a residential building caught fire, leaving one person injured.

In addition, Russian troops attacked the“Orlivka–Isakcha” border crossingon the Ukrainian-Romanian border overnight. The strike damaged a building on the border crossing grounds and caused a fire.

According to the State Customs Service of Ukraine, operations at the border crossing have been temporarily suspended due to the Russian attack—customs formalities are currently not being processed. Citizens and carriers have been urged to use other operational border crossings. Further updates on the resumption of operations will be provided.

Information regarding the extent of the damage is being clarified.

As a reminder, on August 31, Russian troops struck a“Nova Poshta” terminal in the Odesa region. The building was partially destroyed by the strike, after which a fire broke out.

Recently, during the night, the occupying forces shelled the Odesa region. Warehouses storingfood suppliesfor the population were hit by enemy fire.

On August 29, in the Odesa region, a fire broke out in eight trucks carryinggrain as a result of an enemy strike. Five trucks were completely destroyed by the fire, and three were damaged. One person was killed as a result of the shelling. Three others were injured. Dry grass caught fire at the scene.
