Explosions near the airfield in occupied Crimea at night

In the evening of April 4 and at night of April 5, explosions were heard in occupied Sevastopol and other areas of Crimea, and Russian air defense was operating.
This was reported by Krym.Realii with reference to Crimean and Russian telegram channels.
According to the Russian-controlled mayor Mikhail Razvozhayev, the air alert in Sevastopol was announced at 19:31 and lasted until 20:23. Monitoring channels then warned of the threat of a drone attack.
After midnight, explosions began to be recorded in the city again, with reports of them appearing around 1:17 and 2:47. However, no air raid alert was announced this time.
After three in the morning, a series of explosions were reported in the area of the Kacha military airfield. According to the telegram channels, the sounds were heard at around 3:09, 3:15, 3:31, 4:11, and 4:20.
At about 6:31 am, Sevastopol again announced an air raid alert that lasted more than two hours. At that time, there were also warnings of possible drone attacks.
In addition, reports indicated that drones were flying in the Krasnoperekopsk district and explosions in the Saksky district, but these data have not yet been independently confirmed.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that from the evening of April 4 to the morning of April 5, their air defense system allegedly shot down 87 drones over the territory of Russia and occupied Crimea. It was not specified how many were over the peninsula.
The Ukrainian side did not comment on these events.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war in 2022, Crimea has been regularly attacked by drones and missiles, but the Russian authorities usually do not confirm possible hits on military targets.
As Intent previously wrote, on the night of March 15, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck at air defense facilities of Russian troops in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Two radar stations and a launcher of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system were hit.
Later, a Russian Su-30 fighter jet crashed in Crimea during a training flight. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the crew managed to eject and survived, but the circumstances of the incident remain unclear.
