Due to the attack on the stadium, Chornomorets canceled the match

The Ukrainian Premier League Matchday 2 game between Chornomorets and Kolos, which was scheduled to take place on August 8 at Chornomorets Stadium, has been rescheduled for one of the alternate dates. The reason for the postponement was damage to the stadium caused by the Russian attack on Odesa.
This was announced by the Chornomorets soccer club.
The new date and kickoff time for the match will be determined at a later date by the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL)Directorate .
Fans are advised not to rush to return their tickets, as they remain valid.
The “Chornomorets” stadium in Odesa was damaged in the Russian attack. It is known that the roof, windows, and stands were damaged. According to preliminary information, a 29-year-old woman was injured. She sustained shrapnel wounds. The victim is receiving all necessary medical care.
On August 2,Odessa’s FC “Chornomorets” kicked off the2026–27 Ukrainian Premier League season with a home loss. In the first-round match, the Odessa team lost to Zhytomyr’s “Polissya” bya score of 1–2.
The “Chornomorets” Stadium is the largestsoccer-only arena in southern Ukraine, with a capacity of over 34,000 spectators, located in the historic center of Odesa in Taras Shevchenko Park. The stadium dates back to 1936, but it acquired its current appearance and state-of-the-art infrastructure—including its own hotel, business center, and museum—following a major renovation in November 2011. The stadium serves as the home arena for the Odessa club of the same name and is one of the city’s key sports and cultural venues.
