Ukrainian Officials Charged with Collaboration During the Occupation

During the occupation, the woman headed the Bilozersk hospital in Kherson region.

According to the Kherson Region Prosecutor's Office, in 2022, the convicted woman cooperated with the occupation authorities. In addition to heading the seized Bilozersk hospital, she re-registered it under Russian law. She persuaded the medical staff to cooperate with the enemy, and procured services from companies controlled by the aggressor country.

The director of the medical institution was found guilty of aiding and abetting the aggressor state, supported by the public prosecution of the Oleshky District Prosecutor's Office. The court sentenced her to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property. She is also banned from holding positions in public authorities, public administration or local self-government, as well as positions related to the performance of organizational and administrative or administrative and economic functions, the provision of public services, for a period of 15 years.

Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine served a notice of suspicion to Dmytro Holoborodko , a 41-year-old resident of Genichesk and former candidate for the Genichesk City Council . The man concluded and executed at least three contracts with the so-called Department of the Judicial Department in Kherson region and the Department of the Russian Ministry of Justice in Kherson region for 88 thousand rubles, 21 thousand rubles and 160 thousand rubles, respectively. The agreement provided for the repair of cars for the occupation authorities, and the financing was provided by the budget of the Russian Federation.

In addition, law enforcement officers identified three women who agreed to head the department in the occupation administration of the Kherson city community in 2022. Lyudmyla Husieva, Olena Ustymova and Svitlana Frolova were suspected of collaboration.

The SBU also exposed the activities of Oleksandra Pshenychna, the former starosta of Zaozerne village, who, after the occupation, collaborated with the enemy and ran an illegal administration. In addition, Oleksandr Filenko, the head of Radensk and Chelburda villages, was served with a notice of suspicion .
