Ukrainian Forces Shoot Down Russian Drone Amid Mykolaiv Attacks

The occupiers massively attacked Mykolaiv region with drones. One of them was destroyed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine
According to the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, at night, air defense forces shot down a Russian drone over the Mykolaiv region.
"On the night of March 22, the air defense forces and means in the Mykolaiv region destroyed one Shahed 131/136 UAV," the statement said.
The regional state administration also said that during the day the Russian military fired several times at the region. At 07:55 and 17:40, the enemy attacked the Kutsurub community with FPV drones. Also, at 19:47, the Russian military fired from an FPV drone at the coastal zone of Ochakiv in the Ochakiv community.
In all cases, there were no casualties or significant damage.
The day before, on March 20, Russian troops attacked the territory of Mykolaiv district nine times with FPV drones. The occupiers also fired artillery at the Kutsurub community at 08:50 and 09:13. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
On March 19, Russian troops attacked the Kutsurub community four times with FPV drones. No casualties were reported. On the same day, at 10:30 and 13:05, the Halytsynivska community came under attack by drones. The type of drones is being clarified. As a result of the attack, a 49-year-old man suffered an acute stress reaction and was provided with outpatient care. The roof of a warehouse, two tractors and a combine harvester were also damaged.
On March 18, Russians opened fire on 26 settlements in the Kherson region, injuring seven civilians. The enemy shelling destroyed four multi-story buildings, 29 private houses and a gas pipeline.
On the night of March 17, Russian drones attacked Odesa region. A kindergarten in the village of Nova Dofinivka in the Fontanska community was heavily damaged. As a result of the attack, 500 residents of Odesa district were left without electricity, and a private house, a shop, and a car were damaged. One person was injured.
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said that the allies are considering deploying peacekeeping forces in Kyiv, Odesa and Lviv, and this initiative has already attracted the attention of other European countries. He emphasized that this step is part of a comprehensive strategy to support Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that the country is ready to send up to 10,000 troops to Ukraine and provide two trawler ships if a peace agreement is reached.
