Traitor police officer Fedorian in Crimea exchanged for Russia

The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv has released Mykola Fedorian, convicted of high treason, from serving his sentence in connection with the decision to transfer him for exchange as a prisoner of war.
This is evidenced by the relevant court ruling.
The decision to transfer him was made by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War on August 5, 2025. In October 2024, the Holosiivskyi District Court of Kyiv sentenced Fedorian to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property. Although he initially appealed the verdict, he later withdrew his appeal and wrote an application for an exchange.
After the annexation of Crimea in 2014, Fedorian, who retired from the police, remained on the peninsula. He received a Russian passport and got a job at the occupation enterprise "State Unitary Enterprise 'Chernomorneftegaz'". In November 2020, he was detained at the Kalanchak checkpoint, where evidence of cooperation with the Russian FSB was found on his cell phone. The investigation found that Fedorian provided transport to the FSB at least 12 times to conduct so-called investigative actions and transport illegally detained Ukrainian citizens under the pretext of fighting theHizb ut-Tahrir organization. He denied his guilt in court, but evidence was found in his correspondence with the FSB. In particular, Mykola Fedorian participated in the repression of Crimean Tatars organized by the FSB.
Meanwhile, the health condition of Crimean political prisoner Yatskin has been deteriorating in the colony for 7 years. Ivan was detained in 2019 and convicted by a Russian court in a case that human rights activists consider politically motivated. According to him, Yatskin was reluctant to talk about his experience, but mentioned that during his imprisonment he developed trophic ulcers on his legs due to the lack of proper medical care. He also complained of constant psychological pressure, headaches, pain in the thoracic spine and almost complete loss of teeth.
