The prosecutor's office has served a notice of suspicion of collaboration to Gulnara Murtazayeva, who is a member of the occupation "State Council of the Republic of Crimea" and the head of one of the peninsula's educational institutions.
This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in Sevastopol.
According to the investigation, in October 2022, Murtazaeva participated in recording propaganda news for the Russian channels Krym24 and Millet. In her speeches, she openly supported Russia's aggression, accused Ukraine of "destroying Donbas" and approved of the actions of the Russian leadership. She also proposed to hold extracurricular classes about the "SVO" in Crimean schools to spread Russian propaganda among students.
In June-July 2024, Murtazayeva voluntarily participated in the illegal elections to the occupation "State Council", where she received a deputy mandate from the United Russia party. According to the conclusions of the forensic linguistic examination, her statements confirmed the signs of justification of armed aggression. She faces up to 12 years in prison for her crimes.
The Prymorskyi District Court of Odesa returned two land plots previously owned by a Russian citizen to state ownership. The court's decision of September 2024 satisfied the claim of the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol to confiscate agricultural land.
The total area of the land plots is more than 3.6 hectares and they are located in the Nizhnegorsk district of Crimea. According to the investigation, the woman received these plots on the basis of certificates of inheritance. However, she did not comply with the requirement of the Land Code of Ukraine regarding the mandatory alienation of such land within a year, as she is a foreigner.
The court's decision has now been enforced: the land plots have been confiscated into state ownership, and information about them has been entered into the State Register of Real Property Rights. The press service of the prosecutor' s office emphasized that this decision is an important step in regaining control over Ukrainian land in the temporarily occupied territories.
