As a result of the enemy shelling and related power outages in Mykolaiv region, passenger trains in the region will run with delays.

This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.

"As a result of enemy shelling, we have a power outage in Mykolaiv region. Reserve diesel locomotives have already been withdrawn, and passenger trains in the region will run with delays," Ukrzaliznytsia said in a statement.

We are talking about the following trains:

  • 127 Zaporizhzhia-Lviv,
  • 128 Lviv-Zaporizhzhia,
  • 51 Odesa-Zaporizhzhia,
  • 7 Kharkiv-Odesa,
  • 53 Dnipro-Odesa.

In general, the Ukrainian railroad periodically reports that traffic is hampered by shelling . Similarly, on October 24, the movement of passenger trains was hampered due to massive shelling in several regions. To ensure the delivery of passengers, as well as the evacuation of people with limited mobility and animals, Ukrzaliznytsia used combined transportation, backup traction, and detour routes.

These included Kirovohrad, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions.

At the same time, 12 people, including two children, were injured in the Kherson region as a result of enemy shelling over the past day. According to the head of the regional military administration, Prokudin, Russian troops attacked 43 settlements in the region.

Four multi-storey buildings and nine private houses were damaged. Among the damaged objects were a cell tower, a church, an administrative building and cars.
