Recreation center burns in Odesa region due to drone attack

On the night of June 1, the Liman community of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, Odesa region, suffered from an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles from the Russian army.
This was reported by the head of the community Vasyl Reznichenko.
According to him, the residents of the community were not injured. Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, provided a little more information about the incident.
"As a result of the strike, private households and the building of the recreation center were damaged, and a fire broke out there, which was quickly extinguished by firefighters," he said.
On the night of May 30, the Russian army once again attacked Odesa region with kamikaze drones. Izmail district came under attack. The Izmail District Prosecutor's Office opened a criminal investigation into another war crime committed by the Russian occupiers against the civilian population.
On the night of May 26, a drone strike caused fires and destruction in private households in Odesa district. A residential building was destroyed over an area of 100 square meters, followed by a fire, and rescuers extinguished the fire.
Roofs of residential buildings, an outbuilding, two garages, three cars, a fence and a gas pipeline were also damaged. In the latter case, there was no fire. At another address, two garages were destroyed with subsequent fire, a car was destroyed and a residential building was damaged.
As a result of a Russian attack on the night of May 25, 20 cars were on fire in a parking lot in Odesa, located among high-rise buildings.
On the morning of May 24, it was reported that a man who had been injured in a Russian missile attack on the port of Odesa on May 23 died in hospital. He was the third victim of that attack. On May 23, Russia launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles at the port infrastructure of Odesa. The attack killed a port worker. Eight other people were injured: four in serious condition, two in moderate condition, and two with minor injuries.
