The occupation administration has intensified its work on forced passportization in the temporarily occupied Kherson region. It has involved young people in these activities.

According to the activists of the Yellow Ribbon Movement, as part of their extracurricular activities, students are offered a project to get extra points.

"We need to conduct a sociological survey of 100 people with the following questions: Do you have a Russian passport? Why not? What would it take for you to get one?" the movement said in a statement.

Obviously, this information is not just for statistics. The occupiers are using students as a tool for data collection and manipulation, trying to create the appearance of voluntary passportization.

Activists also note that Russian propagandists promise one-time payments and social guarantees. However, only Russian passport holders can receive them.

"In fact, there are no new or special payments, it's just a way to force people to get documents of the occupying country. In local universities, students were given manuals about the "advantages" of Russian citizenship," they added.

Earlier , the Kremlin regime banned residents of the Kherson region who have not received Russian passports from marrying. Also, in the TOT, it became possible to recharge a mobile account only with a Russian passport or authorization through the Russian portal of public services.

According to the latest data, 240,000 people in Kherson region were forced by the Russians to exchange their Ukrainian passports for Russian ones.
