Mykolaiv Region Under Attack: Drone Strikes Cause Damage and Outages

The occupiers continue to terrorize Mykolaiv region. A drone attack caused a power outage.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

Yesterday, February 2, the enemy attacked the Kutsurubska community five times with FPV drones.

As a result of one of the attacks, a power line was damaged in the village of Parutyne, leaving 49 subscribers without electricity. The damage was promptly repaired by utility services. There were no casualties.

Also at 8:52 a.m., the enemy attacked the waters of the Ochakiv community with an FPV drone. There were no casualties.

On the night of February 2, air defense forces and means destroyed two Shahed 131/136 UAVs in Mykolaiv region. As a result of the fall of the wreckage in Bashtanka district, five private houses were damaged by the blast wave.

In the evening, on January 28, at around 20:00, the enemy launched a missile attack on a food processing facility in the city. Preliminary, it was an Iskander-M ballistic missile. As a result, two women aged 54 and 56, employees of the enterprise, were killed. The shelling partially destroyed the shop building and damaged the administrative building.

At night, on January 22, from 22:35 to 23:10, the enemy attacked Mykolaiv with drones. A six-story residential building was damaged and 200 people were evacuated.

The shelling injured a 74-year-old woman who was hospitalized and a 59-year-old man. Residential apartment buildings and private houses were damaged, 14 subscribers were disconnected from gas supply, 94 subscribers were cut off from electricity, and 21 residential buildings were left without heating.

In January 2025, the longest air raid alarm in Mykolaiv region lasted almost ten hours. The average duration of alarms is around two hours. The longest alarm in the new year was sounded in Mykolaiv region on January 27, starting at 20:29 and lasting 9 hours, 51 minutes and 53 seconds. In total, there were 77 airborne alarms in January.
