Mykolaiv Region Faces Multiple Drone Attacks, Damaging Homes and Power Lines

Several attacks with strike and FPV drones on settlements and infrastructure facilities were recorded in the Mykolaiv region. The attacks damaged residential buildings, outbuildings, and power lines.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

On the night of March 10, air defense forces destroyed 18 Shahed 131/136 kamikaze drones. The falling debris in Mykolaiv and Bashtanka districts set fire to dry grass and shrubs outside of settlements. There were no casualties.

On March 9, at 11:32 a.m., the enemy attacked the outskirts of Mykolaiv with an attack drone, the type of which is being specified. The strike damaged a private house, but no people were injured.

Several attacks were also recorded in Mykolaiv district. At 11:10 and 12:23, FPV drones struck the waters of the Ochakiv community, causing no casualties. On the same day, artillery shelling and three attacks by FPV drones were recorded in the Kutsurubska community at 13:00, 12:56 and 17:26.

In the village of Dmytrivka, a private house, an outbuilding and a power line were damaged. As a result, four settlements of the community were left without electricity: Kutsurub, Ivanivka, Yaselka and Dmytrivka. The power supply was restored by 18:30.

On the evening of March 9, around 18:00, an attack drone attacked the Shevchenkivska community. As a result, an outbuilding was damaged in Mykolaiv village. There were no casualties.

On March 8, at about 07:45, the enemy launched a missile attack on the open area of Mykolaiv district, probably with an Iskander-M missile. The attack caused no damage and no casualties. On the same day, at 08:20 and 08:22, Russian troops shelled the Kutsurubska community with artillery and attacked five times with FPV drones.

The day before, on March 7, Odesa was the target of another attack by Shahed-136 drones, targeting civilian and energy infrastructure. The strikes left nearly 1,500 residents without electricity.

In the Kherson region, Russian shelling damaged four high-rise buildings, 17 private houses, an agricultural enterprise, a factory, a gas pipeline, and several cars. Five people were injured in the attacks.
