The Novovorontsov District Court sentenced Svitlana Myrnenko, a native of the village of Malokakhovka, Kherson region, to ten years in prison in absentia with confiscation of property, finding her guilty of collaboration.
This is stated in the relevant court verdict.
The court also banned Myrnenko from holding any positions in state or local government for 15 years, and from participating in activities related to the provision of public services or the electoral process.
According to the investigation, in September 2022, the woman facilitated an illegal "referendum" on the "accession" of Kherson region to Russia in occupied Kakhovka. Myrnenko issued ballots for "voting," registered people who participated in the pseudo-election, and encouraged local residents to participate in the "referendum."
One of the witnesses said that the convict also participated in the illegal "elections" of deputies of the Kakhovka municipal district - she was seen with a ballot box in the company of other people who cooperated with the occupation authorities of the Russian Federation.
On October 30, the Halytskyi District Court of Lviv found 34-year-old Dmytro Hrebenyuk guilty in absentia of treason, participation in a terrorist organization and illegal armed groups. The native of Tavriysk (Kherson region) was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of all property.
The court found that Dmytro Hrebenyuk, who until recently lived in Bakhmut, voluntarily mobilized to the so-called "people's militia of the DNR" no later than July 2022. of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. There, he held the position of a radio operator.
Grebenyuk directly participated in hostilities against the Armed Forces of Ukraine, fighting in the temporarily occupied territories. In particular, his stay in the village of Salkove in the Kherson region, in the villages of Urozhayne, Prymorske and other settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as in Novoazovsk in the Donetsk region was established.
