Presentation and flight tests of the domestic Mavic took place in Ukraine

A presentation and demonstration flights of Ukrainian drones for reconnaissance and fire control - analogs of the most common Mavic at the front - took place at one of the training grounds.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that about ten Ukrainian companies presented their innovative solutions in the field of UAVs. The main goal is to create and launch mass production of Ukrainian drones - analogs of the Mavic. The point is that this should be a military product that is resistant to electronic warfare systems, with integrated dumping systems and other functions. Ukrainian developers are well aware of what characteristics and functionality a drone should have on the battlefield, as they work closely with the combat units of UAV operators.

Colonel Andriy Lebedenko, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, emphasized the importance of creating a necessary, reliable and practical drone for the Ukrainian Defense Forces during his participation in the event.

Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine have signed a number of implementation agreements with the Ministry of Defense of Denmark. They clearly define the projects, as well as the terms of financing and delivery of weapons. The documents finalize the agreements set out in the Letter of Intent signed in late September in Kyiv. They provide for a series of purchases from Ukrainian defense companies totaling approximately EUR 535 million. The sources of funding are the governments of Denmark and Sweden and interest from frozen Russian assets.

It was also said that several dozen modern UAVs were handed over to the Marine Corps' troops defending the Kherson direction.
