A resident of Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region, will stand trial for passing information to the enemy about the location of Ukrainian military and equipment.
According to the Mykolaiv Prosecutor's Office, they have completed the investigation and submitted to court the case of a woman who collected data about the Armed Forces under martial law.
According to the investigation, the accused joined a Telegram channel run by a pro-Russian blogger who worked under the supervision of Russian special services. She secretly searched for and recorded the coordinates of the deployment of Ukrainian military and equipment in her hometown. After that, the woman transmitted the collected data to a pro-Russian chat room. She was detained and is now in custody awaiting trial.
She is accused of unauthorized dissemination of information about military objects in wartime, which is provided for in part 3 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Currently, the resident of Ochakiv, which suffers the most from Russian shelling, faces a prison sentence of eight to twelve years.
Meanwhile, Inna Kopiyka, the head of the Kutsurubska ATC, suspected of justifying Russia's armed aggression, was chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention. She may be released on bail of UAH 242,000.
The head of the village council, Inna Kopiyka, has repeatedly spoken out at her workplace, justifying Russia's war crimes. She also tried to discredit the top military and political leadership of Ukraine. The official called Russia's war against Ukraine an "internal civil conflict." She also justified missile attacks on Ukrainian cities and the killing of civilians. At the same time, the attacker denied the involvement of the invaders in their war crimes on the territory of the community she heads.
It is worth adding that the Kutsurub community, headed by Inna Kopiyka, is regularly subjected to enemy shelling. The main attacks are carried out by FPV drones, artillery and shahed-type kamikaze drones launched from the occupied Kinburn Peninsula.
