An electronic Book of Remembrance has been installed in Mykolaiv to honor the memory of the Heroes who died for the independence of the Motherland in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
This was reported on the city's website.
The book contains information about the fallen defenders of Mykolaiv since 2014.
The first touchscreen information terminal was installed near the Central District ASC. In the future, similar electronic Books of Memory are planned to be placed in every district of the city.
The message states that the Book of Memory continues to be filled, so the Mykolaiv website asks to send available information about the fallen Mykolaiv Heroes to the following e-mail address: u.veteran@mkrada.gov.ua or contact the address: Mykolaiv, 20 Admiralska St., office. № 531.
The preferred format for providing information is:
- surname, name, patronymic; military rank, position;
- dates and places of birth and death (burial);
- circumstances of death, information on awards;
- if possible - biographical information;
- photos of the same size, close to 1080x1920px or 1920x1080px in .png or .jpg format.
In October, Intent wrote that Mykolaiv decided to honor the memory of fallen soldiers. To do this, they plan to create a Book of Memory. The Book will be updated at least once every three months. Public access to the Book of Remembrance will be provided by means of sensor information systems.
Earlier, Mykolaiv hosted the All-Ukrainian annual race "Honor the Warriors, I Run for the Heroes of Ukraine" dedicated to the memory of fallen defenders of Ukraine. The event was attended by relatives, friends and friends of the servicemen.
Also in Mykolaiv region, sailors unveiled a memorial in honor of the fallen soldiers of one of the Ukrainian Navy units who gave their lives in the Russian-Ukrainian war for the sake of their homeland. The memorial has become an important symbol of honoring the heroism and sacrifice of the sailors who defend Ukraine from aggression, and a reminder of the losses the country suffered in this war.
In June, it is planned to create a memorial complex dedicated to the memory of the fallen warrior heroes who defended the country in the Russian-Ukrainian war. The Department of Architecture and Urban Planning approved the design task for the construction of the memorial complex.
